As states start to open up, BBVA wants to welcome you back with lobby service in an environment of enhanced safety. Your safety and the safety of our employees is very important, which is why we've taken additional precautions and put special health and safety protocols in place, such as:

Protective plexiglass shields for all customer-facing areas
Our bankers will wear masks and gloves
Enhanced cleaning of branch lobbies
No more than 5 customers inside branch at a time

BBVA has returned to lobby service. The hours of operation are Monday to Thursday 9am–5pm and Fridays 9am–6pm. Closed on Saturday.
Drive thru service is available Monday to Thursday 9am–5pm and Fridays 9am–6pm. Our ATMs are there for you anytime.

For your safety and the consideration of others, masks are mandatory in our branches. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for your use.
Yes, for the safety of our customers and employees alike, all employees will be required to wear a mask and gloves.

We value the safety of our employees and their families. We are doing many things throughout our organization, such as increased education around preventing the spread of COVID-19, a dedicated COVID-19 crisis team, mandatory 2 week quarantine to anyone feeling sick or who was exposed to COVID-19, and access to on-demand telemedicine service for all employees.

Drive-thru banking tubes vary by branch location. In general, you begin by pushing the service button to ask for assistance. The teller will then send you a canister with a deposit or withdrawal slip to fill out. Once you have placed all the required items back in the canister, you can then send the canister back to the teller to complete your transaction.
Yes, there are limits as to how much money you can withdraw at bank drive-thrus. The drive-thru withdrawal limit will depend on your branch's withdrawal policy. Ask your branch about their drive-thru banking withdrawal policy. If you have a specific need, call your branch or let your drive-thru bank teller know so that your request can be evaluated and options discussed.
Yes, you can cash a check at a drive-thru. BBVA has policies that could limit the amount and immediate availability of funds. It is best to discuss the limitations with your drive-thru banking teller before cashing a check.
BBVA does not offer money orders. We can provide our banking customers with cashier’s checks for a fee. Not every branch offers cashier's checks as a drive-thru service. Speak to your branch for their policy.
Due to limitations of the drive-thru system’s capacity, limits may apply to the amount of cash currency you can place in a tube and generally, we do not accept rolled coins due to weight. Please consult an on-site Associate or call your branch with specific transaction questions. If depositing a check, there is no limit to the amount that can be deposited using a drive-thru.
BBVA wants customers and employees to be as safe as possible from the coronavirus. We have enhanced our janitorial services to include daily sanitizing of drive-thru equipment, including drawers, pneumatic tubes and cash containers. All our cleaning procedures follow CDC recommendations. Also, BBVA is continuing to provide latex gloves and sanitizing wipes for employees.
